As eccentric as it is playful, De Snoepfabriek creates a playground for the mischievous Elias (Skikata Ga Nai) & Arno (Dishwasher_). Through their tinkering, these improvisers blend influences from jazz, electronica, funk, hip hop and more into new sweet treats that they are only too happy to share with their hungry factory audience. Think of Yussef Kamaal in a blender with Squarepusher, or Go Go Penguin on a date with J Dilla. The band is currently best known for its short ‘SNOOP BEATS’. The latter was picked up by Rik De Bruycker from Studio Brussel and Lefto. De Fabriek is rapidly spreading from Ghent to every corner of the country with their fidgety funk.
